The Vigi-App is a surgical wound post-discharge surveillance application, which aims at the early detection of surgical site infection as a clinical decision support system.The Vigi-App allows patients who underwent surgical procedures in previously registered hospitals to be monitored weekly (from 01 to 03 months depending on the type of surgery performed).The application consists of a questionnaire; there is the possibility of sending a photograph of the surgical wound; tutorial; digital nurse (communication via chtat between the patient and a health professional from the hospital where he underwent surgery); agenda (the patient will receive reminders via SMS signaling the days to fill in the questionnaire).Additionally, health professionals from previously registered hospitals can follow the progress of their patients through a dashboard (www.vigiaplicativo.com).
